The Jordanian Civil Coalition "Hima" Elects a New Executive Committee and Adopts a Work Plan

The Jordanian Civil Coalition for International Human Rights Mechanisms "Hima" held a meeting for its general assembly at Center for Defending Freedom of Journalists (CDFJ).
During the meeting, which was held on Saturday 8th February 2024, the general assembly elected a new executive committee for a period of 3 years consisting of 7 members, whose names are as follows:
Nidal Mansour, founder of CDFJ, Linda Kalash, Executive Director of Tamkeen for Legal Aid and Human Rights, Lubna Dawani, member of the founding body of the Mezan Center, Hala Murad, Director of the Dibeen Foundation, Dr. Abeer Al-Breim, Director of Habaq for Training on Human Rights and Development, Ali Fayyad, Director of Jordan Partners, and Raafat Badran, Director of the Naya Foundation.
The general assembly meeting approved the draft of the coalition's work plan for the years 2025-2026, a plan that will be later approved by the new executive committee. The executive committee of the coalition will be working also on developing this workplan, setting measurement indicators, and a time frame for its implementation.
The executive committee is expected to hold its first meeting within 10 days to discuss its work mechanisms.
