زين الأردن تحصد جائزة الاستدامة والمسؤولية المجتمعية العربية لعام 2025
أنباء الوطن - دبي، 13 تشرين أول 2025: حصدت شركة زين الأردن جائزة الاستدامة والمسؤولية الاجتماعية العربية لعام 2025، عن فئة الشركات الكبرى (Large Business Category)، والتي منحتها إياها الجائزة العربية للمسؤولية الاجتماعية والاستدامة (Arabia CSR & Sustainability Awards 2025)، تقديراً لبصماتها الواضحة ودورها الريادي في تحقيق التوازن بين النمو الاقتصادي وحماية البيئة ودعم المجتمع المحلي.
وتأتي هذه الجائزة لتُرسّخ مكانة شركة زين الأردن الريادية، كونها إحدى أوائل الشركات الوطنية التي رسمت استراتيجيتها الشاملة لإدارة الاستدامة والمسؤولية الاجتماعية، وجعلتها جزءاً أساسياً من نهجها عبر دمج أهداف التنمية المستدامة ضمن أعمالها وعملياتها التشغيلية مما عكس التزامها في إطلاق العديد من البرامج والمُبادرات النوعية التي تدعم المجتمع المحلي عبر عقد شراكات واسعة مع مختلف الجهات المحلية والدولية بهدف تحقيق التنمية الشاملة، إلى جانب تخصيص نسبة من أرباحها السنوية للمسؤولية الاجتماعية،حيث تُوجّت هذه الجهود بحصول الشركة على المركز الثاني في الجائزة.
وتمتد رؤية الشركة لتشمل شركاءها ومورديها لضمان توافقهم مع القيم الإنسانية وأهداف الاستدامة في أعمالهم، كما تركت الشركة بصمات إيجابية واضحة من خلال إنجازاتها الرائدة في مجالات تمكين الشباب والمرأة ودمج الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، فضلاً عن جهودها البيئية الحثيثة لمواجهة التغير المناخي وخفض الانبعاثات الكربونية، وبما يجسّد رؤيتها نحو بناء مستقبل أكثر استدامة وازدهاراً.
وشهدت الدورة الثامنة عشرة من الجائزة تتويج الفائزين في حفل كبير أُقيم تحت رعاية سعادة الشيخ المهندس سالم بن سلطان بن صقر القاسمي، رئيس دائرة الطيران المدني في رأس الخيمة وعضو المجلس التنفيذي لحكومة رأس الخيمة، مما يضفي على الحدث أهمية خاصة ومكانة متميزة، فيما حضر الحفل نخبة من القادة وصنّاع القرار وممثلي المؤسسات الرائدة في المنطقة، احتفاءً بإنجازات الشركات التي تضع الاستدامة في صميم عملياتها.
وتُعد جائزة الاستدامة والمسؤولية الاجتماعية العربية من أعرق الجوائز الإقليمية التي تُكرّم المؤسسات المتميزة في مجالات الحوكمة والاستدامة والمسؤولية المجتمعية، حيث تقيّم أداء الشركات وفقاً لأفضل المعايير العالمية وممارسات الشفافية والاستدامة المؤسسية.
يُشار إلى أن شركة زين الأردن قد نالت وسام الحسين للعطاء المميز من الدرجة الأولى، الذي أنعم به جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني على الشركة تقديراً لجهودها في خدمة المملكة ودورها في دعم المجتمع المحلي، فيما حصدت العديد من الجوائز المحلية والإقليمية كان أبرزها ميدالية اليوبيل الفضي التي أنعم بها جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني على الشركة، تقديراً لمساهماتها في تطوير قطاع الاتصالات في المملكة، فيما نالت الشركة مؤخراً جائزة التميّز التكنولوجي في الشرق الأوسط Middle East” Excellence Award 2025" عن مركزها الإقليمي لتخزين البيانات والمعلومات والتعافي من الكوارث The Bunker""، التي منحتها مجلة Asian Business Review”" خلال حفل توزيع الجوائز في دبي بالإمارات العربية المتحدة.
Zain Jordan Wins Arab CSR & Sustainability Award 2025
Dubai, October 13th, 2025: Zain Jordan has been awarded the Arab CSR & Sustainability Award 2025 in the Large Business Category, presented by the Arabia CSR & Sustainability Awards. The recognition highlights the company’s remarkable contribution and leadership in driving sustainable development through a balanced focus on economic growth, environmental protection, and community support.
This award further reinforces Zain Jordan’s pioneering position as one of the first national companies to establish a comprehensive sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy. The company has embedded the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into its core operations, making sustainability an integral part of its business approach. This commitment is reflected in the many impactful initiatives and partnerships Zain Jordan has launched to support local communities and promote sustainable growth dedicating a portion of its annual profits to CSR initiatives. These collective efforts have earned the company second place in this year’s award.
Zain Jordan’s sustainability vision extends beyond its internal operations to include its partners and suppliers, ensuring their alignment with the company’s ethical and sustainability standards. The 18th edition of the Awards was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Eng. Salem Bin Sultan Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation, Ras Al Khaimah, and Member of the Executive Council of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah. The event brought together prominent leaders, decision-makers, and representatives from leading regional institutions to celebrate organizations that have made sustainability central to their business models.
The Arabia CSR & Sustainability Award is regarded as one of the region’s most prestigious recognitions in governance, sustainability, and social responsibility. It assesses organizations based on international standards of transparency, accountability, and sustainable impact.
It is worth mentioning that Zain Jordan was previously honored with the Al-Hussein Decoration for Distinguished Contribution of the First Class by His Majesty King Abdullah II in recognition of its service to the Kingdom and its contribution to the local community. The company also received the Silver Jubilee Medal from His Majesty for its efforts in advancing Jordan’s telecommunications sector. Most recently, Zain Jordan received the Middle East Excellence Award 2025 for Technological Excellence for its regional data and disaster recovery center, The Bunker, awarded by Asian Business Review magazine in Dubai, UAE.
